Casual Dining Awards reveals celebrity host, Sally Phillips

The Casual Dining Awards has announced that comedian Sally Phillips will host its 2023 edition which takes place on 27 April at London Marriott, Grosvenor Square.  

Sally is an award-winning actor, writer, and comedian-presenter. She has featured in some of the best loved comedy shows from I’m Alan Partridge to Hippies, Green Wing, Miranda, Parents and Veep.  As well as appearing as a regular guest on QI, Would I lie to you and delighting the nation with her appearance in series 5 of Taskmaster. Most recently, Sally became the host of Sunday Morning Live. 

For 2020 host Tom Allen wowed the crowds with his riotous storytelling. In previous years Steph McGovern, Hal Cruttenden, Matt Dawson and Gyles Brandreth have also taken to the stage.

The Casual Dining Awards are a glittering celebration of the Casual Dining industry, celebrating the best multi-site restaurants, pubs & bars in the UK. This prestigious event is an important evening to help highlight the achievements made by the most innovative and successful operators in the industry.  

The whole industry will be there including leading brands like Dishoom, Wahaca, Honest Burger, Franco Manca, Pizza Express, and Wagamama – who (among others) have been shortlisted.
